We are pleased to announce the release of Lifetime Version 4, the biggest release of our software package to date. In this release we are including a brand new Gift Aid module which covers all aspects of Gift Aid from recording your loose cash to filing your claim directly to HMRC through Lifetime.
Lifetime Gift Aid
Record
Loose Cash on a weekly basis – the
Weekly Collection screen will now give the option to enter the Loose Cash, just
make sure you have set up your Churches or ‘Community Buildings’ in the
‘Gift Aid Settings’ under system administration.
Enter
One-Off Donations – if
you have received other Gift Aid Donations which are not through an envelope or
a standing order, you can enter these thought the One-Off donations sections in
Gift Aid.
File
Claim directly to HMRC through Lifetime – you can now file your claim directly through Lifetime
provided that you are already set up and registered for Charities Online. You
can still generate the Gift Aid Schedules and upload these through HMRC online
services.
Easy
correction of postcodes and incorrect gift aid donor details – Lifetime will find any problems
with your Gift Aid claim data e.g. missing or invalid postcodes, and list them
for you to correct at the click of a button.
Loose
Cash Reporting – generate
a Weekly Loose Cash report complete with the counters of the cash and breakdown
of cash donations.
Other Improvements
Easier
collection inputting – The
system will now automatically aggregate the amounts when the same envelopes
appears in a weekly collection more than once. You now
only have to press ‘Enter’ once after you enter the amount.
Household
Envelopes – If you
prefer to address your envelopes to a household, e.g. Mr & Mrs John Smith,
you can now add a ‘Household Title’ in the household details and ticking
‘Household Envelope’ on any envelope holder in the household will display the
household title on the envelope Label.
More
flexibility organising envelopes for the new year – you can now reorganise your
envelopes by Area, Address or Parishioner Name as well as having the option to
close the gaps in your envelope list.
Distribution
lists by area –you can now print reports detailing the envelope holders per area. The existing
envelope holder reports also have the Area Number included and the option to
order by area.
Backing
Envelopes – if you
are mid way in inputting a weekly offering and you add an envelope number, this
number will appear immediately when you continue your offering.
Non-Parishioner
Confirmations – any
confirmations listed as ‘Non Parishioner’ can now be changed to ‘Parishioner’
if need be.
Print
a single label –if you need a single envelope label printed, you’ll find an option in
Parishioner Details to do this.
LogMeIn
Access – to save
you opening a browser and typing the LogMeIn address, you’ll find a ‘Support’
link on the Lifetime main menus to take you straight to the LogMeIn Remote
Support connection.
Better
reporting – more
ordering options and filters added to the reports.
