We are pleased to announce the release of our most-up-to-date version of Lifetime Accounts.

In the latest release we have included the latest features and the improvements , that were gathered from client feedback.

Please take a few minutes to read over the new changes we have made.

·Advanced Search

Finding transactions on the system is now much easier with the ‘Advanced Search’ option. You can search over different accounting years meaning less navigating if you need to look at a transaction from a previous year. You can access the advanced search from anywhere on the system by clicking on the top menu bar.

·Batch Entry – F6 quick copy command.

You can now use the F6 key on the Batch Entry screen to copy from the row above on the batch entry screen, for example if you are entering transactions which are all on the same date, you can easily press the F6 key to use the same date from the line above.

·Edit Journal Item

Edits to items in the journal can now be made by double clicking the transaction or by selecting the item and clicking the edit button. You can make amendments to your income and expenditure items from here too, with the same rules regarding reconciled transactions in that you cannot change amounts or dates. For Journal items, you can change all details except amounts.

Budgeting Features

·Set Monthly Budgets

Improvements have been made to the budgeting functionality – you can now set a monthly budget figure for each ledger, or you can still set an annual budget. When you set the annual budget figure, the system will evenly distribute the annual budget over the 12 months of the year. You can then adjust each month accordingly.

Reporting Improvements.

·Income and Expenditure Detail Report – this report allows you to see a three-tier detail view of what has been posted to each income and expenditure code without having to click into each heading.

·Enhanced Budgeting Reports – You can view the budget reports monthly, quarterly, or over custom dates using the pre-defined options at the top of the report.

Other Useful Improvements.

· Balance Sheet Improvements – an option has been added where you can list the bank accounts separately on the balance sheet. You can also click into each heading in the balance sheet to see have has been posted.

· Cost Centres – date filters added and better drill down functionality on the cost centres report, Cost Centre column added to the main income and expenditure screens.

· Filter by amount – new filter added to the main entry screens to find transactions of a specified amount.
